Very funny.
Anyway, I told a handful of friends about the blooming season 2 weeks ago. I'm sorry if you have missed it, but the past 2 weeks would have been the best time for you to capture the beauty of flowers in Singapore. The dry spell in Feb and early March accompanied by the frequent showers subsequently have caused a rare blooming phenomenon on our island. It's rare because we usually have a wet climate all year round so that wouldn't trigger the flowering mechanism in flowers.
The past weeks have been really lovely with flowers blooming even on trees. Even my usual route down the stretch of PIE was lined with ixora and bougainvillea flowers. If I had the time and luxury and a nice camera, I would have gone for an exploration outdoors looking for exotic plants. A pity most of the flowers have come to the end of their life span and are wilting already.
During one of those days I had my camera in my bag, so I took it out instinctively and snapped a couple of shots around my neighbourhood. Hahas, it was just a short walk from the bus stop to my house. Photos are totally non photoshopped nor edited! I must share with you the beauty of my lovely housing estate!!! P.S: I love my TKG estate :)
i see peach, white and yellow. The purple ones were hidden behind the towering stalks!! Yucks, the man-made structures in the background totally spoilt the photo.
